Trekking and camping 2 days - Venture across the otherworldly landscapes of the Garden of Gods Natural reserve State Park on a guided hike from Colorado Springs. Choose the difficulty of the hike and take in the dramatic views from the peaks. After pickup from Denver Downtown in Colorado or Cheyenne motel in Wyoming, enjoy a convenient and scenic transfer to the reserve. Upon arrival, admire views of the largest view in the United States, Red Rock Canyon. Follow your guide through the mountain wilderness and pass the petroglyph-covered walls of Colorado’s oldest State Park. As you hike, your guide will provide insightful information about the Garden of Gods, from the geology to the history. Experience mild to extreme rock scrambles that will take you to some of the most beautiful peaks and plateaus in northern Colorado. At the end of the hike, you will be pickup from Garden of Gods meeting point with the guide until the campground Cheyenne Mountain to enjoy an evening around the campfire, with delicious vegetarian barbecue skewers, wood-fired potatoes, and toasted marshmallows. The music is gentle American folk at the start of the evening, and for those who don't want to return to their comfortable tent, they can stay around the campfire to dance to more rhythmic, ethnic-electro sounds by the light of the fire. The next Sunday morning, coffee, tea and French breakfast of bread, jelly and croissants are included. You will be taken to the site according to your choice of option and the level of difficulty required for the walk. Available Hikes: -Easy: Caves of Wind Park. This option is great for families and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. This easy walk allows you to see some of the many ancient petroglyphs as well as natural arches hidden throughout the park. This trip required an additional cost for the entrance of $31 you can pay at the entrance. That included Prehistoric cave, a zip line and an acrobatic course. -Moderate: Red Rock Canyon. You will hike at a pleasant pace, although a good level of fitness is required. Explore the dramatic red rock formations while you scramble and climb landscapes of boulders, crevasses, brush, peaks, and plateaus. -Difficult: Manitou Incline. This is a more intense activity than the moderate and easy hikes and is recommended for avid hikers. You’ll cover more challenging terrain for the most captivating views. Additional informations For those wishing to enjoy a beer or glass of wine, you can pay on site for a bottle of wine or a beer. For those who wish to eat meat, you can give your skewers in a thermos at the start of the trip to the guide, who will give it to the chef to prepare. The tents are all fully equipped, with inflatable mattresses, survival blankets and lanterns for lighting up the night. On-site sanitary facilities with showers and drinking water. The comfort of the tents makes them ideal for families or couples, with 2 to 4 people per tent.

  • Message to people with special needs - hey we're not a group, we're a family.. we know the whole Colorado Canyon mountain, we'll find the best paths for your wheelchair, come with us, no problem. Our skewers for group dinners around the campfire are vegetarian. There's a delicious herbed barbecue sauce with mushrooms, zucchini, corn, wood-fired potatoes, fresh cheese, tomatoes and olives. Our Chef wants to show that vegetarian dishes can be delicious while protecting animal rights. Send us a message for any information concerning your extra meat to be cooked before the trip. You can bring your meat to cook in a thermos and give it to the guide at the start of the trip, he'll give to the Chef. Also, if you are vegan, you can let us know so that the Chef can remove the cheese from your vegetarian BBQ. The music changes after 10pm for those who want to dance around the campfire in an environmentally friendly way.
