Important Information

*Download the Shaka Guide app to access your purchased tours.* Red Rock Canyon requires a reservation to get in between October 1st and May 31st, for entry between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you are entering Red Rock Canyon between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., you do not need a reservation. From the months of April through October, plan to hike early in the morning because temperatures can soar well over 100 degrees F. No parking on the dirt. You’ll go through a Nevada Security Checkpoint upon approach to Hoover Dam. All vehicles are subject to inspection. Hoover Dam is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. (except for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day). Tours run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last tour departing at 3:45 p.m. The entrance fee for Lake Mead (paid at the Fee Booth between the Visitor Center stop and the Boulder Beach stop) is $25 per vehicle, good for 7 consecutive days.
