Description

This is a private tour of the the majestic Mojave desert. We will stop to see the Kelso Sand Dunes first. This is the largest field of aeolian sand deposits in the Mojave Desert. Only seven known sand dune fields in North America produce booming, and the Kelso Dunes are one of them! It's a deep, eerie, rumbling sound you can feel in your bones; a rumbling vibration through your entire body. The best way to hear the booming is to have a big group all on the crest at the same time trying to shove off as much sand as possible, like an avalanche. Second stop is the basaltic Lava Tube. This is a short hike. One of the most amazing spots for photography in the entire Mojave desert. This is a private tour for your group only so we can spend as much time as the group wants at each location. On our way back we will stop and the Seven MAgic Moutains for some picutres before returning back to Las Vegas
