From there, we journey to Willow Beach, AZ, where you’ll be equipped for a scenic kayaking excursion along the majestic Colorado River. Designed for all skill levels, our 2.2-mile round trip kayaking tour takes you to “River Gauger’s Station” or “Bob’s Beach,” offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. During the excursion, indulge in refreshing snacks and beverages while learning about the rich history of the Colorado River, Hoover Dam, and the interconnected wildlife ecology. After kayaking, we venture to the iconic Hoover Dam for a guided walking tour, providing panoramic views from the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Bridge and opportunities for memorable photographs at historic sites. Our journey concludes at Hemenway Park, where you’ll marvel at the stunning scenery of Lake Mead and its abundant wildlife. Finally, we return to the Las Vegas strip, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the remainder of your day. This all-inclusive tour spans six hours, offering an immersive experience from start to finish.

Important Information

The kayaking tour includes a 15-20 minute paddling instruction for beginners and covers 2.2 miles roundtrip at a leisurely pace. We recommend tandem kayaks for beginners and single kayaks for experienced paddlers. After 45 minutes, we stop at a beach for snacks and a brief 5-minute hike. After kayaking, we take a shuttle to Hoover Dam, where we walk up 70 stairs to view the dam, spending about 1 to 1.25 hours there. Finally, we visit Hemenway Park to overlook Lake Mead before returning to your hotel near the Las Vegas Strip.
